About

VFX artist turned developer, building the 3D tools I've always wanted

I've been doing visual effects since 2008, working with every 3D program out there—from Houdini to Maya, Blender to Cinema 4D, and everything in between. After over 15 years of using these tools, I realized something: it's time to build my own.

That realization led me to coding, primarily with Three.js. I'm fascinated by the possibilities of web-native 3D creation—bringing the power and flexibility of desktop 3D software to the browser, where it can be embedded, shared, and integrated in ways that traditional tools simply can't match.

What I'm Building

Kurasao

A web-native procedural 3D editor with Houdini-like capabilities. After using every 3D tool available, I'm building the one I've always wanted—one that's built for the web from the ground up, with complete transparency, full parameter access, and the ability to embed procedural workflows anywhere.

The tagline says it all: "Build your world. Embed anywhere."

My Approach

From User to Builder

Having used every major 3D application, I understand both the power and limitations of existing tools. This perspective drives me to build something that combines the best of what I've learned with the unique possibilities of the web.

Web-Native First

I'm not trying to port desktop software to the web. I'm building something designed for the web from day one—embeddable, programmable, and accessible in ways that traditional 3D tools can never be.

Procedural Everything

Inspired by Houdini's node-based approach, I believe everything should be procedural, non-destructive, and fully transparent. Every parameter accessible, every operation traceable, every workflow embeddable.
